Welcome to Pasha Restaurant,

The name of our restaurant, “Pasha”, accurately represents this melting pot and the food we are serving. Pasha or “Paşa” (in Ottoman and Turkish), was the highest rank granted to governors, generals and dignitaries during the Ottoman Empire political and military system. For us, it describes our vision of serving food and beverages worthy of royalty to our customers. We offer a wide diversity of tastes from a vast geography, culture and history. In Kiswahili, the word “Pasha” means to “warm-up”, and we hope that our food warms up the hearts, souls (and stomachs) of all our customers! We commit ourselves to offer up the freshest of ingredients and flavorful meats and are dedicated to buying local ingredients whenever possible. This not only enhances the culinary experience at our restaurant but it also supports the local Tanzanian economy in a very special way. We like to think of our concept as a Turkish food with an African Twist.
