In 2005, we uprooted our family and sold the 25-room hotel that we owned in Hawkes Bay. Both domestic and international guests frequently make use of our home as a hub during their time spent traveling throughout New Zealand. As a consequence of this, many continue to come back year after year. Although we reside on the premises (in the upstairs apartment), the downstairs Accommodation Feilding is very quiet, and it offers guests complete privacy while maintaining their separation from the hosts.

An estimated 17,000 residents call the rural town of Feilding home. Feilding has been voted New Zealand’s “Most Beautiful Town” a whopping 17 times. Beautiful tree-lined avenues and no cost to park here are just two of its many selling points.

There is no need to drive the extra 15 minutes to Palmerston North because we have everything right here. Manfeild’s international motor racing track is a significant draw, as it hosts events like the New Zealand Grand Prix. The Feild Days celebration in March is second only to Hamilton’s in terms of attendance.

We can drive to the nearest golf facility in under 10 minutes. In addition to the largest stockyards in the Southern Hemisphere, the Coach House Museum, and some lovely boutique stores, there are many historic buildings to explore. We are located on a lovely, dead-end street.
